Fall is finally getting to northern Utah. Attached are photos I took on Tuesday on the Alpine Loop (in the mountains near Provo and Orem). They are my first attempts at shooting in raw and some PSE treatment. Comments are welcome.

Some great fall colors UTMike.
Mike, your images prove what I once heard John Shaw say in a seminar when asked where to go for terrific images. "Put a map of Utah on the wall, throw a dart at it, go THERE."
Thank you all for the kind comments!
UTMike: I'm heading for Vernal, UT this Wed and would like to get some colorful fall photos. Please tell me how to get on the Alpine Loop coming from Idaho on HWY 15; also, any other suggestions to get remaining good color in the area. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing! Beautiful colors :)
Gary,
Going south on I-15, go past Salt Lake Lake to Lehi. At Utah 92 (exit is marked for Timpanogos Hwy), turn east. This leads to Alpine Loop Road. This is a part of Uinta National Forest so an NPS pass is helpful if you get out of your vehicle to walk around.
Enjoy,
Mike
What gorgeous color! Well done, UTMike!
