Scratching for fall color.
The summer here in southern Illinois was pretty dry. Thus far fall colors are mostly brown(s). I pieced together a couple patterns from the back yard... Will see what happens in the weeks to come. (Shot with android phone while dog walking.)
I think the natural color should be red, not magenta. Are the red leaves redder than the color of bright dark pink? True red colors come out too pink in digital pictures as far as I can determine.
I think the green grass is nice... and the yellow came out nice. But I have never see magenta colored leaves, they should be red.
Yes, it came out a bit rich. I didn't do any individual color adjustments. Just Camera Raw and curves. I have the single red leaf here on the desk. In the sunlight it's redish... here on the desk it's pretty brown.
Maybe the Android just sees more red spectrum. Maybe I'll take the REAL camera out there... BRB.

It's ART! and it's very nice! The magenta make everything more interesting. Keep it!
Thanks! New version to follow in separate post.

It seems the entire region was dry this year and of course that has an effect. I rode North yesterday, clear up into and around Starved Rock and I 80 and never did see anything but green and the brown that just falls off without much color. I did talk to a friend who is saying they are seeing some color in the UP but thats a long trip particularly this time of year on the bike.
