Raptors over Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage and a Mexican Pheasant (lol), 3 Eagles, an F-22 and a Magpie. Taken on a recent trip in late May this year and about the only clear day (and only half of that day at that) we had in 8 days of cold, more cold & rain. Sorry for the quality, they're not the best since I just missed focus on all of these but still practicing and to wanted show the vast photographic opportunities available just outside your door....in Alaska. I'll be heading back real soon to try again with hopefully much better weather and much better results.

Very Nice.
Were you above the clouds with the eagle or did you compose it to look so?
No, just standing outside my room, shooting up....cloud layers were everywhere, high, low, mid and any given time. The eagles were off in the distance at about 50-90 degrees depending when I took the photo
Thanks Jerry, appreciate it...I will get better
Nice shots! I loved Elmendorf, it was the nearest alternate when our base in Adak was socked in(1300 miles away)and the Airforce always had better facilities.
Beautiful shots, Blaster34!
