Wonderful to see you in the section. I seem to remember some similar images from a good while back. I find them interesting and technically well done..

I'm glad these images are of something small. If it was large I'd find them a bit on the scary side. Did you by any chance find it in your garden after a meteorite shower?

Hey!Darkroom317,
Great images...esp. #2, with those tendrils on the viewer’s side of the dark mass.
Has your two-year-plus effort concentrated on this plant, or other interior botanical views as well?

Please, let’s see more!

Dave

No, but I could probably do more of this plant.

Here is the rest of the series.

I like the feelings of dimension and atmosphere that you have given these images - the tendrils are spooky fantastic especially the first one for me.

The final exhibition prints will be 14"x18". So they will be fairly large. The groundskeeper at the museum where I work was collecting them and when I saw their structure I asked if I could take several.

These are wonderful, especially the second one. Lots of detail in the shadow area of the image.

Like others, I prefer the second image but both, and the linked series, are quite fascinating and, no doubt, quite a challenge to produce. Well done for sticking with the project - a worthwhile effort. You have some very nice b&w images in your other series as well.

Thanks. I am kind of hoping I may have another negative for the first one with a bit more exposure. I am honestly surprised by the amount of detail in the second one as the only lightsource is the lightbox behind the object

Thanks. I started this project my last semester of college. I am used to working in series. There a couple more from this set but they aren't as good
