Need some help on picking a couple of these to enlarge as well. Taken on Wild Horse Island in the middle of Flathead Lake, Polson MT. It was so much fun hiking around the island and these guys are not to scared of you. So you can get pretty close. I borrowed a Nikon D810 with my tamron 150x600 lens for these. Let me know which is your favorite!

Thank you...I can't even imaging how hard they hit. We saw one set hit horns but just kinda playing around....it sounded like a shotgun blast!

Impossible to choose from four almost perfect photos. So tack sharp. I really like the first one because it is so unusual. I wonder if you have a version of it where his eyes are just a few inches higher so they'd be sharper. I also like number 3 but you can't go wrong with any of them.

Thank you! I do have a portrait one of the first ram, but I am not sure the blur in the background works very well. What do you think?

You are just too good! Another very nice shot. Yes his eyes are less obscured here, but I'm still drawn to the first one I guess because it is such an unusual perspective for a big horn sheep. Usually you see them on baren mountain sides.

Thank you so much for the compliment, I have only been using a dslr since last November...still so much to learn! Wild Horse Island is a protected habitat for the rams, wild horses and mule deer with hiking trails all thru the island. Since the animals don't get hunted...they are not scared of you and let you get pretty close.
