Nikon D800e vs. D850
With the D800e going as low as under $900 on eBay, maybe now is the time to get one. Of course it depends on your budget, needs, style of shooting etc. I wonder how many will get the D850 and find dissatisfaction with there lens performance. Anyway I am posting one from the weekend with the D800e to show the IQ.

Damn good example of what the D800e can do - nice!
The 800E is all the camera I need; but I want an 850.
D800, D800E, D750, D500, D810 and now the D850. Frankly, they are all excellent bodies I have been happy with. I like the D850 a lot. I don't like that Adobe only has a temporary patch in ACR and DNG conversion for its RAW files. The lens performances I have experienced with the D850 has been excellent. I have used the Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 FL and the Tamron 15-30 f/2.8 and I have it set up to shoot some macro tomorrow morning with the Nikon 105G f/2.8.
I'm in your court on this one. My 800e is quite excellent enough. I've not even looked at the 850, in print or in person. I've no need to.

You're only telling half of the story. WHAT LENS did you use.

Shows what a good TC can do with a good prime! Nice shot.
