I would like to ask for the help of those who are either retired or may have a few seconds on your hands. The wife has been researching the good old family tree and in the process shook a few nut out of my tree, but on to the main part of this subject is a service that she got into, it is called Find A Grave and to make people aware of the potential good feelings one gets from this is not easy to explain. This is something that people who may or may not live in the areaa and would like to have a shot of their loved ones Headstone I know a little morbid in a way but it has its rewards in that most of the people we service with these pictures write a thank you for the pictures we have done for them. They don't have to be portraits or study's in picture taking they have to just be a snap shot that someone else will cherish for as long as they are around. The wife and I have taken pictures for people in Ireland and a few other places over seas as well as all around the USA. The draw back if one wants to make money this is not for you if you want to help as in volunteer it is on your dime but the pay back tp me was worth it. Another thing if you have members of your family interned in another part of the country and you know where then you also can put in a request for a picture of their head stone. So any way any one who may be interested in helping then go to FindAGrave.com and sign up we can use all of the help we can get.

That is what my wife got me into it for she was looking up her family and well the ball started rolling downhill fast I really love doing it we take a day or two a week and do the research for the people we are going to Photograph their Head Stone then we go out and find them take a picture and my wife does all of the posting. Of course her and I are a lot like peanut butter and jelly very seldom do you see one with out the other and I love doing things with her also. So anyway look it up and sign up and give an afternoon every week or two or even if you can only spare a day a month it will help.

www.findagrave.com is as good as they come. One feature actually lets people post requests for photos and any registered member (free) can "claim" the request, then go to the cemetery and take the photo. It is a great way for photographers to make it a better world.
