A few photos early this morning at the Vero Beach Wetlands, a Green Heron and a Tri-color Egret. Not many birds since wetland maintenance has been completed. However, mid 80's, no breeze, and 100%+ humidity if that's possible without rain.....hot, hot, hot, just waiting for weather to cool and the 'real' Snow Birds to arrive ☺☺
Most unusual shot of a bird in flight! Nice!
Thanks, quick shot, and he flew straight away....wish I could have included the head
Thank you, appreciate the comment

No, then it wouldn't be so unusual. This shot shows the position of the head in relation to the wing as he took off. I wonder if holding his head back like that helps with lift off.
He was down in the bush and trying to go vertical it the outset then dropping away from me, only caught him in my viewfinder as he was leaving
Very nice captures! The weather has to improve soon!
Thank you....Good grief it was hot this morning, went at 0730 and about 0900 it was unbearable, no wind...cold fronts can't get here too soon
Thanks, appreciate the c omment
