Burnt Dinner

This female Sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus) alighted in a tree at the bottom of the garden this evening as I was cooking the evening meal.
Just had to find the camera, change the lens get back outside and try and get close enough to get some shots. Shot away until she flew off.

Well burnt pasta doesn't taste too bad, well it does actually but happy with photos.

Well, burnt pasta doesn't sound very appetizing, but I think the pictures were worth it. Of course, I don't have to eat the burnt pasta.

You can make burnt pasta anytime. Getting a photo of a Sparrowhawk maybe not so often.

Ok somebody has to say it...I will take the hit... Next time just turn the pasta off, and take it off the burner. sorry..

Bob it's burnt nearly every time. Sparrowhawk visits quite often but has gone by the time I get the camera most times
