That's funny because I consider you a decent guy who doesn't even swear!
Plus you were a many year wrestling coach. I admire you for that. Coaches made a huge differeance in my life. Amongst others sports, I wrestled for 12 years!!! My HS wrestling coach is in his late eighties and I see him a few times a year!
So what huge crime did you commit that you got yourself blocked?!
I'm blocked too, but I probably called him an i***t!!!

Darn! Now I will have to change my opinion of you since I found out you were a wrestler. I am prejudiced in favor of wrestlers. I was a head high school wrestling coach in Ohio for 29 years, assistant coach at Ohio State for 2 years and technique coach at OTC for one year. I had a ball at OTC. I had the Elite ( 17, 18 and 19 year olds). The head coach was more like a team manager. He took care of travel, hotel, places to work out when we were out of the country. All I had to do was plan practices, talk with assistants about technique and work with the kids.

That must be why you call me a r****t. Wrestlers are a different race.

I do follow the law. All my guns are registered and kept safely. I bought all my guns from reputable stores. Thus I had to fill out the proper forms including background check. I took the License To Carry class and passed both the written and shooting tests. I am legal.

I just wish everyone are as safe as you, unfortunately a lot are not.

Rongnogno is a mentally challenged person with limited reasoning sk**ls. He tends to shoot from the lip as he is unable to get his point across any other way. He has blocked most people on here. He should just start his own site and argue with himself every day.

If I'm not mistaken, he does have his own site (or did at one time) and it is a 'world according to him' deal, where he posts his views and does not want any other input. It doesn't surprise me that he blocks so many. I think he just wants the world to run by his opinion and his alone. I would think that would be very isolating and rather depressing, because he is so angry.

Since I am blocked I started my own thread.

I am a gun owner/user. Rongnogno asks what am I afraid of. I am afraid of coyotes k*****g my calves and/or foals. I posted a sign saying "no coyotes". It didn't work. I yelled at them to stay out. That didn't work either. I shot one and put his head on a fence post. That worked.

I am afraid of someone coming on the ranch and helping themselves to my livelihood.

I am afraid for the life and wellbeing of my wife.

Rongnogno said "The argument that guns don't k**l, people do is flawed." It is not flawed. I challenge you to show one case when a gun shot someone without the help of a person.

If you really believe that people who own guns are "fools, i***ts, morons, and criminals" then why do you attack them so vehemently. You are either a brave warrior or you must have balls like basketballs.

You say. "The question is: Is there a need to hunt? The answer today is a definite NO." Wrong, Rong! See above.

I follow the law and you don't like it so you attack me. Smooth move exlax.

I, for one, am with you 100%.

Sorry to hear that he's attacking others comments. I think it's time to go back to lurking mode verses even making a comment about anything posted. He can't wait to make snide jabs about anything or anyone.

Speaking of moose, in the mid 70's, while assigned in Alaska, I assisted in relocation of a cow moose that converted a Pipers Cub and a Volkswagen to scrap. She was sedated and sling loaded away from Six Mile lake airport on Elmendorf AFB about 50 miles by helicopter vs k*****g her. It wasn't her fault she didn't like yellow. Hmmmm, nah, not going to worry about snide comments, just proof that it doesn't have to be a bear to be dangerous.

HaHa. How old were you when your uncle told you this tall tale? Six?

I think that most reasonable people would see a gun as a necessary tool on a ranch. However, you would be able to still do everything you need to do with your gun if it was registered. I also believe gun owners should be required to keep track of their guns. Bad guys get guns because good guys don't keep track of them.

guess you never heard of black market??? has nothing to do with good guys....are you really that naive???

Your uncle is quite lucky, a Moose is an animal to be respected, they are unpredictable and can eliminate a human without a second thought.

With progressives, when a bomb goes off and k**ls people they blame people. When someone k**ls with a gun, it's the gun.

The simple t***h is it's a progressive wet dream to disarm American citizens.

Primary danger of moose is hitting one in a car, where they fall through the windshield, and the two of you share the passenger compartment together.

A grizzly would be a genuine danger, probably requiring a long gun.

You obviously have never been in Moose country during rutting season.
