Perfect symbolism even to point of it being "lifted high, lifted up". Where is this located and who placed it? I sure am enjoying all the new posts in this section. Refreshing and encouraging. Sandy

Thank you. It is On a place called "The Peninsula" Just south of Tulelake, California and the Oregon border. Specifically at a place called Newell, California. It was very near one of the WWII Japanese internment camps. In fact, a guard tower for the camp was located only a few hundred yards away from it on the same hill. Best I know it's been there since I was a child 60+ years ago. I don't know who originally put it up. It was vandalized and torn down several years back and the locals re-erected it

Forgive me, but I think in this context, ".....and the locals resurrected it" might be appropriate. Just a thought.
