OMG! Major GAS ATTACK. Went into my local camera shop to trade in some of my lenses and purchase a used Canon 70-200mm f2.8, L II and walked out not only with the lens BUT also with a new Canon 5D mk 4. All the gas-x in the world isn't going to cure this one. I will now be selling my Canon 80D with 18-135mm STM LENS. I WILL post price after I get over this massive attack I am having.

Other than the new camera and lens, the happy ending is, someone saw my post on FB and made me an offer on the 80D and 18-135mm lens. So, it has been sold. What a day.

The Canon 70-200mm F2.8L lens is one I have personally seen by a pro football photographer some time ago. He had nothing but praise for it. However, he paired it with the Canon 1DX. Enjoy your new 5D Mark 4 as well. GAS can cause happiness at times. Can't it?

Despite the GAS attack, you are clearly capable of making sound decisions. Enjoy the new gear..

Wow, Congratulations! And hopefully you have your old camera sold! While you still have your 80D, why not take some shots of the new “baby” to post here and of course some of your first shots with the 5DIV.
I can’t afford major GAS attacks all the time but I can enjoy through other Hogg’s experience. 😀

Congrats on your new 5D IV. For all its negatives, it's still a great camera. I'm very pleased with mine and even though I've hade it for almost a year now, I'm still learning how to use it. I kept my 80D, it's my favorite Canon crop sensor body.

Congrats on your new gear. I suffered the same malaise (GAS) just two weeks ago and ordered an 80D from B&H and a 24-105L II from Adorama. B&H was back ordered on the lens and GAS being such as, it is and patience not being one of my virtues I ordered the lens from Adorama at the same price, both with free shipping and no tax. I would love to have the 5D MKIV, but will just have to make do with my 5D MKII for full frame until the 5D MKV comes out and I can get a MKIV used on the secondary market. Again, congrats and please post some images with your new Canon powerhouse!

PS; Waiting for the big brown truck is a nail biter for sure!

Good thing you didn't stop for an oil change in your vehicle! The 5D Mk IV is a toy chest packed with the latest features. Got mine in July and discovered why Canon is selling so many. I do wish it had a stronger battery, but the size makes them easy to carry. The camera is extremely versatile, covers a lot of shooting possibilities. Hope you enjoy yours.
