Starting a war

Some in Congress are concerned about Trump starting a nuclear war with N.K. As a result they are considering a law which would prohibit a first Strike by the US. While I may have some agreemeent with such a law. there is this to consider. Are we willing to sacrifce a US city to first strike. Say L.A. So what should a President do? Wait untill millions of people die to launch a retaliation, or strike first and turn N.K into a parking lot? Opinions please. Here is my shot at it. I don't think this law is a good idea. It is never a good idea to let a potential adversary know your plans.

Congress has shown that they can't pour piss out of a boot if the instructions are on the bottom of the heel. They should stick to what they seem to know best. Lining their pockets.

We should show restraint! Only after they have nuked LA, SF,NYC,SEATTLE, SACRAMENTO should we fire back. That will give us the moral high ground!
