Consider the Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument that are somewhat located between ABQ and Santa Fe.
I strongly second this if you want a really fun easy enough hike with great scenery.
lol - when I lived there the story was that all roads led to the plaza, via old mule trails; narrow and winding.
Just south of Santa Fe is the Hacienda de las Golondrinas. It's an old hacienda that has been put back into play. They have real people doing actual tasks - like baking bread in the adobe ovens, etc. It's a great way to spend an afternoon.

LOL, don't all the roads in Santa Fe go in circles and you eventually go back to where you started? One street is even named Circle Dr.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Definitely checking out Old Town Albuquerque & Santa Fe, and Loretto Chapel. Seems that Hwy 14 from ABQ to SF is a must. If time allows would love to go to Ghost Ranch. Will check out Acoma Pueblo online - thanks for heads up about rain damage. Will consider other suggestions if I have time. Again, thanks.
