Do any of you have a better than nothing, 24/7 pocket camera? If so, what?

I have a Fujifilm X100F. It will fit in a trouser pocket, but not a shirt pocket.

I have been advertising a Fuji X70 compact on the UHH Members Buy/Sell/Trade Classifieds - check it out.
A great, pocketable camera.

Exactly what makes the X100F qualify as a "point and shoot"? Not only does it offer manual exposure settings, but manual focusing as well.

What I'm looking for here is if any of you would be caught dead with anything with less than a 1" sensor, other than a cell phone. I haven't found any cameras with a 1" sensor that will go in my shirt pocket. I need a flip up screen for candid's and often need a viewfinder. I'm eyeing the Lumix zs70. Pictures for posting and no more than 8x10 prints. Would the images be good enough to post here without getting poo pooed> :)

P.S. My D80 is just too heavy and bulky for 24/7.

So-called "Point & Shoot" cameras have grown up a bit since we first all used them back in the day - they can do Raw, Manual, Monochrome - everything but scrambling eggs.

The APS-C sensor on my Fuji X70 is quite a bit larger than the 1" sensor you are contemplating.
And the image size and quality is excellent.

Don't nit-pick so much.
You tell me, exactly what makes your comment relevant to the OP's question?

My "grab and go" choice is the Nikon Coolpix A, it is always in the glove box of my pickup so I am never without. Tiny sensors aggravate the hell out of me. The Coolpix A has a 16.2MP APS-C sized sensor shared with the older D7000. Great results and it DOES fit in my shirt pocket as well.

I haven't checked this camera out before. Except for the short focal length this camera sounds real good, if it will fit a shirt pocket. I'm comparing everything to the Lumix. I realize some focal length is one of the things I will have to trade off for a larger sensor, but "wow". I'm sure I could crop more with the sony.
What about the size. Will it fit in a shirt pocket? 90 ti 100 mile trip for me to see one.

I have a zs50 and it is a fine pocket camera. The zs70 is newer and a bit better. Here is a comparison. I think you will be happy with either one.

Pocket size. Shoots RAW. 30x zoom. Viewfinder. etc.

You have already proclaimed that 24/7 pocket cameras are low on the camera pole!! To answer is a reply trap saying negs about that good and faithful lump in my pants... No, this one... the one that take award winning photos judged by the Camera Club.

If not with one 24/7 then a fine DSLR camera in the closet IS-NOTHING.

I have a 20mpix Sony HX50, little noise, sure, but that is what Topaz deNoise is for.
