On Sunday September 24, the Revolutionary War of which I'm a member, participated in opening ceremonies for the Nascar Monster Energy Cup Race
at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Prior to the race we were free to wander around so I was able to get a few shots. Prior to this on Friday, four of us
represented the group at an award presentation for retiring driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr. The track presented Dale with a custom made New England Fowler, a tricorn
hat which I had the pleasure of handing to Dale, and a powder horn. .
Great shots.
I spent several days riding on that track in a motorcycle course. Nice, twisty, hilly track.
Thank you for sharing. I have been to the track on many occasions I have even rode the parade lap before the M/C race on my Harley. and I got a ride in a race car around the track at 140 mph, fun track. Some things you never forget your photos brought them back to life...Thanks again.

Thanks for sharing your memories.
I got to drive a car at Daytona International Speedway a few years ago, the Richard Petty Driving Experience.
Eight laps around the 2 1/2 mile track. It was fun but eight laps was not nearly enough.
Very nice photos. I was pulling for Jimmie Johnson but he just couldn't get it done.

The way it started out I thought Martin Truex would run away with it.

Ha, ha, ha.
Not a Busch fan I take it? Neither am I.
Rowdy has come a long ways in the last few years. I used to not be able to stand him, but you have to admire his skill at the wheel. He is seriously in contention for the Championship this year.
