I believe this is a member of the Milkweed family: if anyone can identify it for sure, I would appreciate it.

It appears to be milkweed, Mike, but I don't know what variety. Hopefully somebody will know. Your image is just beautiful!!

It is definitely milkweed or at least what we called milkweed when growing up in NYS. It is totally different though from the milkweed I grow in CA to attract Monarch butterflies.

Milkweed for sure and a beautiful picture of the seeds. Somewhere I have a shot where the seeds float away like little umbrellas.

That’s it. Thanks. It grows in a deserted factory near our house but I hadn’t noticed it in flower.
