I went to the reenactment of the Battle of Brandywine this past weekend and got these images. I'm not usually a "people photographer," but some of the scenes there cried out for capturing.

Interesting point. Even in spite of the anachronisms, they seem to be really period correct. Sure, I saw a few iPhones, some LensCrafter glasses, and a lot of wristwatches; but, by-and-large, their clothing was dead on and their paraphernalia (utensils, tents, furniture, weapons, etc.) were all accurate.

try printing them in black and white. you may like the results. I always print this type of event in both color and bw. Most of the time I like the bw better.
