How does the Digest Work?

Just curious as to who picks which topics are included in the daily Digest here on UHH. Is there a criteria to be selected? If so, what? If no criteria, is it random?

You will probably get an answer from someone wiser than me, but every topic I have submitted has been posted as far as I can remember.

No, the Digest form seems to have some selectivity. Half of the Topics that I've created once they are past the Newest Topics in my Digest, do not appear as any of the ones I receive for the next days published Digest to me. I can always find them if I do a search or look through the My Topics page. I does not seem like we all see the same things with out specifically searching for them. Perhaps those receiving a continuous feed do.
