Hello all,
I'd like to buy a good polarizing filter and as I recall there was a company in New Hampshire that was highly recommended here on UHH some time ago. Wonder if anyone would know what company that might have been ?
Thank you,
Lille

I like Hoya. Excellent quality.
B & W Don't buy good glass and put a cheap filter on it

Seems typical here to get answers to questions you didn’t ask!
Check Hunt’s in Manchester:

Hoya lenses are good value, been using them for years with no problems .
What size are you looking for? I am selling some never used camera equipment.
Breakthrough Photography, not cheap by any means but fantastic quality and color neutrality.

At the risk of being criticized for being off topic (I know nothing of polarizer companies in NH) I would highly recommend you read the Lens Tip polarizer review, the second of the links Jerry posted above, before deciding on a purchase. I've used two of their top three rated ones (Marumi and top of the line Hoya) and found both to be excellent.
Regarding the opinion that price, rated quality, etc. doesn't matter regarding polarizing filters, based on my personal experience I disagree. A few years ago I spent many days photographing the fall color around the Teton Range and had the best image by a substantial margin ruined by use of a cheap polarizer ($20-30 range). I would give a lot of money to have that one photo in usable form.
