Donna - I have this tendency to pickup old lenses. Now with NEX it became more so.
An old 50mm f/1.4 lens can be had cheaply. Adapters for most of the mounts are also available.
With crop factor of 1.5x this can be an ideal portrait lens too with a pleasing bokeh.
