Hello fellow photogers...
I am new to this site, so I hope I can find my way around it easy. I notice people put up some pics for others to critique. I will do that too. My biggest thing: I love taking pictures, I have a camera with me everywhere I go- I am sure that is nothing different from the rest of you out there. I do not understand it all completely. My biggest problem is trying to get out of Auto mode. I understand the concept of ISO, Aperature, and Shutter speeds, but do not know how to put them all together. I am more of a hands on type person, rather than reading books. Where I live, there are no photog classes around so it's hard to find help. Maybe I could get Photography for Dummies. Any sugesstions.
I will post a couple pics and see what you all think. Have a groovy day!

You seem to like blues & greens - they are all very nice, you have a, or two good eyes. As to shooting in maual you may wish to try apature priority as opposed to full manual. This seem to be the more common way as now you have more control over your depth of field and don't have so many other things to be concerned with. When in this mode watch what happens to your shutter speed and ISO setting and you soon gain a new comfort.
Thanks! Ha! All those pics do have all blues and greens, I never looked at it that way! I will have to play with my camera in the AV mode! Have a great day! :)
