Spanish spider

I found this spider wrapping up a wasp in a bush in Spain. This was a large spider about the size of a quarter. I cannot find an ID for it but the closer I look at her the more I think that she is a European Garden Orb Weaver. Assuming that they do grow that big.

Nice shots David. My closest guess would be Araneus quadratus The 4 spots lead me to this suggestion but ID photos can be misleading and there is often variation in spider dorsal patterns.
