The second photo is for the wise ass who doesn't know the difference in direct lighting from shadowed lighting.

Taken in direct sunlight

It was the direct sunlight on the left cover that makes it look like that. Thanks for your thoughtfulness.

Both show an abject ignorance of photographic lighting. Is there any reason you don't say which Leica mount the body cap fits? Or which lens the cap is for??

Mia culpa for not being a lighting expert as you seem to be. The reason I don't say which mount the body cap/lens cap are for is because I am doing a favor for a widowed friend and there are no indications as such in or on the caps. There are too many Hoggers on here who are quick to find fault with listings. Kudos to those of you who take listings at face value and not "nit pick".

You can see what the subject looks like in your viewfinder, just arrange your lighting to show the detail you want. The body cap is either a 39mm thread or a bayonet - surely you can tell the difference? Measure the inside diameter of the lens cap, it is not difficult.
I trust you will consider this an attempt to help you sell them, and is not nit-picking.

Appears to be the 39mm bayonet. Thank you for your input..
