Welcome to the group. We can use more members for sure. Give us your experience as you become more used to flying and taking video and photos. I can't help you with your P4P but I'd suggest you join the DJI Phantom group on Facebook, keep searching for videos on youtube on how to do video, and do a google search on it as well. There's plenty there to see and read. I especially liked getting information about video styles on how to get all the different looks from video. I'm no expert so I'm not going to say more about that. But there's one that I do remember that is call the "reveal" where you start the drone low and behind something like a hill, start video, and then fly straight up to "reveal" the subject - which could be a breathtaking view of anything such as a landscape or cityscape or large cathedral - just use your imagination. There's all kinds of maneuvers you can perform ast you video and fly. If there's one thing I can say it's that you should maneuver very slowly when you turn the drone. Going up or down you don't have to be so careful but turning you need very slow turns. Also, get some ND filters. Polar Pro makes good ones for that drone camera. You need to try and keep your shutter at double the fps (frames per second). So if shooting video at 30fps, your shutter should be at about 1/60th of a sec. 60fps - 1/120th of a sec. 24fps - 1/50th of a sec. You will find that you need mostly a ND32 and ND16 filter. Good luck and share or ask more questions here. Use titles for your threads that will attract members that can help you most.

I must apologize but this post is somewhere else in this section, my cat jumped on the keyboard, and sent it somewhere.
Anyway so here it is again:
High all this is my first visit to this topic.
I ordered my first drone last night; I guess rum and coke causes that.
It should be here the first of the week. I ordered a Phantom 4 Pro Plus.
I have read all of the tips and sites that jeepdaddy posted.
Just wondering if anyone else has found some good info on drone photography.
I know there are a lot of utube videos but a lot of them are not that good and I get tired of them quickly.

Thanks for the reply. Delivery for my Phantom is scheduled for Tuesday. Next week I am going to try to get some flight time. I have never flown a drone before so I want to practice flying before I concentrate on the photography end.
I am within 5 miles of two airports so I have to go out of town a little ways to fly.

I am thinking of just getting a 'toy' drone for now, practicing flying, maneuvers, etc. to get the feel of actually flying a drone before I buy a consumer-pro version I can use to shoot video. Any suggestions?

If you want to fly indoors you might look at a Blade Nano QX
