For those who think phone cameras are in some way inferior. These are very good images.

Well, yet again, evidence that it's the skill of the photographer, not the features of the camera in question. Having said that, my wife's friends all love her Google Pixel phone vacation pix, which come out with added saturation and contrast. Oh, and (maybe) I've helped her realize a few things about composition.... :-)

Looked like more PC stuff to me, but photos were not bad.

Yes they are inferior. You are mixing two different things, the skill of the photographers and the equipment. The phone cameras are good for what they are. Its a fact. What your post proves is the importance of a talented person behind the camera. Same photographer with a DSLR would have obtained a superior image.

That does it...I think it's time to get rid of our DSLR's, lens and mirrorless cameras and run out and get a smart phone without delay!

Just wondering what the comments would have been if you had told a little fib and said they were all shot with a top of the line Nikon DSLR.

A photographer who has his/her images published on a major magazine cover impresses me.

On the other hand, someone who likes to boast opinion and make snarky comments on-line and yet doesn't even have a link to his/her own work, not so much.

Poor effort to make this a personal issue. I have the link to my Flickr page in the signature but, it so happens, there is NO LINK to such a thing in your signature. A good thing though because after browsing some of what you post here its highly unlikely anyone will be HONESTLY impressed with your work. No wonder you are so easily impressed.

In the other hand a good photography impresses me, not a cover. Thats perhaps a complex thing for you to understand.

Ah so you do post you work. Very good. Now I think I understand what impresses you.

You could easily find the link to my web page if you wanted to, just like anyone else who uses UHH.

Exactly how man magazines have you published cover images for?

You seem fond of name calling and insults, is it beyond your reach to post intelligent discourse without childishness?

No man magazines. Learn to write properly. I know its hard to do when you realize how immature and absurd you sound. You posted an idiocy, got called for it. Move on. I don't need to see your "work". Ive seen the "work" you post here. No wonder you are easily impressed. Published work? Local state University asked for a couple of images, specially two hummingbirds for a yet to be released book about local birds. I have, thank God, a good line of work and this is a hobby for me. I know the quality of my work however. Here is one of the images they kindly ask for:

LY2A6287 by Oscar Baez Soria, on Flickr

Feel free to click on it for a better resolution version, and browse through my images all you want.

Keep being easily impressed little man. The only childish response has been yours. Just because you realized how stupid your initial post was. Thats frustration for you. Perhaps try to read a bit more about the article you intend to link here. Even reading the comments from that article almost everyone, perhaps those who enjoy some logical thinking, think similar to me.

Keep shooting out of focus little spiders. Let others with a bit of more knowledge post really interesting and well taken images. Good night.

The iPhone camera is fine for what it is. With it's extremely small sensor and very short focal length lens it can capture images in a way that a larger camera can't. That being said it is also extremely limited Horses for courses.

I wonder how many of the individuals requested large prints of the images.
