Not to mention a little patience, dedication and no outside life. But look at the results.

Yeah, easy peasy!
I can't even imagine taking three quarters of a million shots of anything. The skill and dedication required to get a shot like that is incredible and leaves me feeling a bit inadequate.
Oh, and the missus took one look and said 'It's just a bird and a splash. Looks a bit messy to me'.
I just heaved a big sigh. There's no point trying to explain it to her!

I think it would be nigh on impossible to explain this to anyone who never pointed a lens at something hid from you and never stood still.

Don't get me wrong - she encourages me to do my photography and she's got some of my prints on display but she doesn't pretend to understand what I'm rambling on about when I admire someone else's images.
And she said 'Go for it' when I wanted to spend four hundred quid I couldn't really afford on a used Sigma 150-500. She knows I love photography and she wants me to enjoy doing it, and that's worth a fortune to me.

You are a lucky man - she's probably a great cook too. Enjoy that Sigma. I love the lens.

Actually, she's disabled and can't stand up for long so I do the cooking and she loves it when I try new recipes.

329 images per day. Glad he got a couple of keepers.
