Minolta XG-M film camera -- free to a good home

My wife found this buried in some boxes. Camera body, 45mm lens, 28mm lens, and 80-200mm lens. I think I got this around 1980, and it probably hasn't been used in 30 years.
I'm sure it needs some service, at minimum a cleaning.
I'll pay the shipping to the first person who would like it.

This was my first "real" camera -- but I have too many cameras as it is.

Been wanting a film camera, I would be more than happy to take it off your hands. :) I used to own a Minolta X-700....loved that Minolta.

I collect. restore and use old 35mm cameras. I do not have a Minolta XG-M in my collection so I would love to have and restore it.

I still have mine with the two prime lenses you have. I've been thinking of having it cleaned and restored; any suggestions on a rehab source?

I collect and still use film cameras. As I have no Minolta in my collection, I would love it.

With several offers, I guess you've already said enough - but I'm curious if you happen to know how it got packed away like this. Did you remember that you still had it, or was this a complete surprise?

You just don't see many classified's like this even though I don't need another film camera...I'd like to thank you for the offer.

Remember?

I got this camera when I was dating another young lady, before I got married. This young lady knew a fair amount about photography, and I was more than willing to learn.
That's what I remember.

Then I got married. I remember that, too.

If it is still available, I'd love to give it to a friend that just enrolled in a B/W film course at the local college.

Thanks

Thanks
