I googled the song and found a plethora of information which I found somewhat confusing. I didn't find out who wrote the song but found it has been sung by many famous vocalists. I chose these lines for my post:

I'm in a world apart
A world where roses bloom
The first three roses are the same created with different treatments. These images are certainly not flawless but I hope you'll find them pleasing to the eye.

Very nice images, Annie. I liked the first and the last one best of all, but all were worthy artistic efforts. Thanks for sharing them.

Edith Piaf wrote the song, the lyrics that is. And a few years later Mack David wrote the english lyrics.

Thank you for that information, JPL. I did have Edith Piaf written in my notes about the song's lyrics but was still not certain when I read the info on Mack David. 🌹

I've just been browsing thru more interesting info on La Vie en rose. It was the signature song of Edith Piaf, popular French singer. English lyrics were by Paula Cole and Mack David. Tony Bennett, Bing Crosby and Dean Martin were 3 of the vocalists who sang it. Just a few more lines and then I'll put this subject to rest.
