Computer Problem

I believe I saw a posting about someone having problems with their computer going back to a home page. I seem to be having the same problem. Whenever I'm using WordPerfect for word processing, and save a document, my computer goes back to the main page and takes me out of WordPerfect so I have to start it all over again.
Very frustrating. Can anyone help me?

So the application is crashing when you save. Have you tried "save as" and picking the location to save and the file type? Does it crash under those circumstances as well? If so, try saving as a different file type to the desktop (or another known location) and let us know if it still does.

I probably should have worded my question differently. The computer does not shut down, it goes to a main screen that shows a listing of what's on my computer. It should stay in WordPerfect and not exit out of it.

Are you hitting "file" in the upper left hand corner of your computer and then "save" in order to save the file? If you're saving the file this way it should go back into the document.
The alternative is to hit the "x" in the upper right hand corner of the computer which will also give you the option to save the file but then will take you out of your document.
