Actually that location is part of the Nevada Test and Training Range. It apparently was given the code Area 51 in some CIA reports during the Vietnam War. It is also referred to as Home Airport and Groom Lake plus a bucket full of nicknames to include Dreamland and Paradise Ranch. The whole test range is restricted airspace and apparently the part over the ???location of Area 51??? is designated Restricted Area 4808 North on flight maps. It is part of a large restricted/classified test and training area where they develop, test and train with classified aircraft, missiles etc. The UFO/Alien believers are convinced that is where the "Government hides the Truth".
*Definition I used to give my students:
Fact - anything that can be proven true or false and agreed on by everyone - It is a "Sunny Day". Everyone can check out doors and see if it is sunny or not.
Opinion - anything that is stated/believed by some but not by all and cannot be proven true or false - It is a "Nice Day". Not everyone likes sunny days.

Okay, so hers is where we stand. Some Hoggers suppot dowsing/divining/water witching, some debunk it. Big surprise there, right. In fear of starting another war-of-words, I postulate that the believers camp will not be swayed, nor will the debunkers.
Let's call it even, put this one on the shelf, and move on to something controversial!!!

Not to be beating a dead horse, but I'm willing to bet that all of the debunkers of dowsing have never even attempted to try it! So for you doubters out there, don't knock it unless you've tried it! It's not that it works every now and then, NO, once you find a "hit" it will work every time you pass over it, over and over again 100% of the time! Look, I was on your side of this discussion until someone made me try it! I still can't tell you how it works, but it does!
