I just received my Nikon D850 and thought it would be cool to do an unboxing / setup video (that, and I've had more than a few requests).

Steve, thanks for update, i.e. rumor that B&H may have more on the 15th or 16th. Even though I love B&H, they are not offering much info except that after they released the first batch, I'm about #75 on their list.....so fingers crossed they get in (and soon) more than 75.
I'm a big fan of yours & have all your e-books, and love your unboxing video; thanks. I can't believe how much your auto focusing book helped me. Question from your unboxing video: In Set Picture Control menu when you made your selection of "Neutral", I know that doesn't affect the RAW you & I always use but does it affect the imbedded Jpeg the camera shows us when using RAW? Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words - and yes, the profile you set is what's baked into the embedded jpeg. Flat is actually a better choice for showing you a histogram that's sort of close tot eh range of the RAW file, but it just looks terrible on the back of the camera!
