The cute little rascals are illegal to have here in California and six other states. A few states require a permit to keep them as pets.

I can see "puppy mills" developing to breed them. People like cute little animals - till they become big and ugly. Fluffy yellow chicks turn into big chickens - not so cute any more.

If they could not survive in the wilds, then they may need assistance from humans in the form of a sanctuary. But to have them as pets when millions of domestic dogs and cats are being killed for lack of homes-------NO WAY!
We do not need to bring more misery than we have already caused. Support your local shelter by adopting a dog or cat that will otherwise be killed.
