I went back out there today to take photos of the barbed wire and some of the rusted wheelbarrow, and farm equipment, what a bummer someone took the barbed wire and the implements wish folks wouldn't steal from such a cool place they added to the look of the ranch. I got a few good shots though here is the pond and windmill I played with different tones for the windmill think I like the desaturated one the best.

Great images, especially the last B&W! Good thing that windmill was well-anchored down, or someone would try to topple it.

Thank you, guess nothing is safe from vandals probably would take quite a few to push it down.

I also like the desaturated one the most. It "feels" like that's what it really looked like - hot, dry, with an almost invisible sandy haze in the air.

lately its been as you described around here especially the haze but the other day out there it was a perfect day nice and clear, now of course we have the clouds the monsoons aren't over yet.

That one is my wife's favorite also. I got lucky the light was just right for the pond shot
