A few photos to share...
I find that I just don't post enough photos to this forum. I enjoy looking at other folks' photos and enjoy commenting on them. But I just don't post enough of my own photos. So here's what I've been up to lately, hope you enjoy my random selection. Cheryl
- #1 - first attempts at photographing Hummingbirds with my new macro lens
- #2 - practicing with my new 580EX II flash
- #3 - Lorna and her best friend, Tiffany, tried out my reflector, used the silver side (should have used the white)
will add more later

All very nice --- love the sunset the most though.
great pictures. good short field f stop on your daughter.
I absolutely love the sunset on Lake Michigan. That shot is at least National Geographic level.
Thank you all. I really would like to master outdoor portraits. It is hard when I wish I had an assistant to hold reflectors or defusers (ha!) Wouldn't that be nice. Also, thanks for the sunset comment. I love sunsets, but I take too many (so my husband says). I feel lost without my camera when I see a pretty one and he says, "just enjoy with your eyes." My eyes aren't so good, the lens allows me to see more clearly. I'm glad you enjoyed my photos. Cheryl
They are all great captures..

The Big Lake gives lovely sunsets! I have been enjoying them for 63 years now.Thank you for sharing!
The sunset is very nice, but the 2 ladies are beauties.
Nice outdoor portrait work with the reflector. You know I am a portrait nut! Nice smooth transitions of light. Subject well placed.
Nice DOF too!
Good job!

Thank you very much. I remembering seeing a beautiful portrait you had done of your daughter inside (I believe). So, I value your opinion. Cheryl
Thanks to you all, I plan to try and post more of my work then I have in the past. I value the critiques of my work as well. I have to do more posting of work and less stalking (lol). Cheryl

Very nice shots. The portraits seem very well-composed and lit. If that sounds a bit wishy-washy, it's just because I'm not into taking portrait photographs, and can't critique them knowledgeably.
