More from my stay last week. The lobby shot was taken in the early morning before 95% of the people even rolled out of bed.

Thanks. That's quite a place. I've seen so much of it from still and video that I feel as if I've lived there.

When you go there (and you must someday), they make you feel like you're at home. It could be that when you go there as often as we do (now our 8th year in a row, and something like 37 years for my in laws) they treat you like family. The food is spectacular, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the drinks are generous. Our kids look forward to it every year.

I've been to Mackinac Island a couple of times and have seen the outside of the hotel. It is magnificent. I've never been inside of it. You have wonderful photos of the Island as well as the Hotel. It is quite the place to go. I would love to go back again.
