These are not great photos, but the content is pretty funny. My SO cleaned out the bird house in the backyard in south central PA and found a nest made out of mostly roofing staples and some twigs. His theory is the bird (or birds, we think sparrows) collected the staples from the dumpster that was parked in our driveway several days while the new roof was installed. His other thought is the staples were easier to get through the opening than twigs. Maybe this is not so unusual?
