Thank you very much. I will admit there was a bit of a crop involved here. When I shoot these characters with my macro lens I ensure that I can see all the segments of their compound eyes. I also end up discarding a bunch in quest for images like the two I posted. I also try to get them head on if at all possible if I am trying to showcase the eyes. Makes sense, right?
