You sure got the moment again Voss. I know you didn't have any control over it but you spend time trying to work out what is above the head of the guy left that it takes you away from the subject. His stare adds to the overall effect however I think I would have included more of him or lost him altogether. Otherwise it is a picture I would have liked to have taken.

I just hope his more than casual friend is his wife. I do believe I detect a wedding ring on his hand. I wonder what that guy watching them has rolling around in his mind? Best I don't guess. I like it as it brings up more questions than answers and that makes a fun photo.

Thanks, SATS. Couldn't add more of that guy--it was the end of the photo. It might gain by losing him altogether, but I kind of liked his stare. I do wish more of him had been on there.

Thanks, dragonfist. If married, it must be newlyweds. That's a lot of affection for an older couple.

The guy on the left is a distraction. Take him out.

I like the staring guy. Grabs the idea of looking wistfully on at something he's (at least currently) missing. Maybe a little more of him would make it better, but it works as is for me.

Love it! Especially how the guy on the left is looking at her, uh, jeans. Yeah, her jeans. That's it.

I like it. Interesting couple. I think they are brother & sister.

Surely you jest sir. It is plain to see he is trying to tell the time on the gentlemans wristwatch.

Glances over cocktails
Which always seem so sweet
Never seem quite so amorous
Over shredded wheat

I know the feeling Voss, you grab the shot and you get what you get, then you make the best frame you can out of what you have. It is still a good photo though.

Dragonfist, it is not a wristwatch, honestly.
