These may actually be toadstools - not an expert. Shot with Canon 60D / 100mm 2.8L macro. Critique would be appreciated.
Looks very nice. Do you think you can download it once again but this time tick the "store original box". Makes it possible to enlarge it.
Love the colors in it
I like it a lot. Love the colors and the DOF. I'm sure it's in the mushroom family.
I've just stored the original.
I LOVE the unusual colors in the background and the up-lighting, too
I love the texture and the composition, as well.
But I cannot put my finger on what stops short of a stellar photo. I'm thinking it's the competition between the slight noise of the background (green) in close proximity to the textural detail, which subsequently detracts from it.
This is one of those times when I wish you had a macro lens!

Beautiful! Very very nice!
Well, I still like it but when zooming in there is a discord on the top of the mushrooms. I dont know if it called fringing or chromatic abberation but it distracts from the picture.
I think it may be that the DOF is very shallow. It was shot with 100mm macro @ f2.8 from about 18 inches. The mushrooms were about an inch tall.
This is a really cool photo!
I love the lighting under the mushrooms.
It looks like they are little lamps with that golden light.
:)
Nicely photographed, love the lighting also
Did you use the LCD screen or did you get down on your belly ? I took a nice mushroom photo using the LCD , and the 100 macro , using the LCD allowed me to zoom focus and it helped so much . But I like this picture very much and would put it in my keeper file if I were you !
