So those who like modern technology that you are not interested in are morons?
Seems like you might be the cave man.

Huh? This is old stuff. Speleopod Troglogustus and other cave dwelling life forms have been doing this for millennia. And with greater accuracy. A simple pit viper can be more effective!
Here's a tip: Get a life and quit worrying about how other people spend their money. That way, you won't have to waste your time posting about things that obviously don't interest you. It's THEIR money, not YOURS. It doesn't affect you, and, someone else's expenditures are none of your (or mine, or anyone else's) business.

Great! I've always want an iPhone, "starting at $999."
Remember, that includes the lens!
Now is the time to start compiling those links. Once you own it people will have questions.
BTW, how do I download from my flip-phone?

I have never suffered from G.A.S. I buy what I want, when I want, to meet specific purposes, regardless of what others are, or are not, buying, or what is, or is not, the latest / greatest item. I did not buy a PlayStation 3 until the PS4 was on store shelves. I never bought a PS4, and never will. I may get an X-Box One X some day, if I feel like it, but am not rushing to pre-order one. I Bought my girlfriend-who wanted a Superzoom 'bridge camera'-a Nikon B700 because it is Superzoom enough to suit her...even though the Nikon P900 is even more so, and later / greater. I will soon be getting myself a Nikon D500, rather than a Nikon D850, for now...and possibly getting a D850 a few years down the road...after a sequel, or two, (D875?) has come out. How I spend my money is up to me, and no one else. I spend it to meet my needs, and wants. At least I never contributed to The PussyGrabber In Chief-Herr Drumpf-in any way.

Then what made you think it was necessary to tell everybody how you spent it?

Ive had an apple, I have a Samsung, my next phone will be a flip phone or a jitterbug or something thats cheap. I just need to make calls. That way I can
have more money to spend on my hobbys, or for fueling The GAS attacks...
I learned 30 years ago that with Cameras and Calculators (phones were on the desk in the hall), when you need one, you buy the best technology that you can justify, and then, until it wears out or will no longer meet your needs, you never look at the ads or reviews in Popular Photography or Shutterbug. That still seems to be good advice.
Could be time to retire my iPhone 5C!
I am looking for an electric car self charging (solar cells) and w/o electronics.
I am a caveman.
