Panasonic DMC-LX7

I'm thinking that the focus on my LX7 is a bit soft. Comparing enlargements to 1,000 % between the LX7 and some other cameras I have (pocket cameras) this is apparently true. Attached are a couple photos that I just took outside. The locust shell was under a tree and taken handheld without flash. Any comments? Am I expecting too much from such a small sensor camera?

I have the LX7 and it is my go to camera thought I have six cameras in total including a Canon G15 which I also love. Can't speak to your sharpness question. Comparing to 1000% enlargement seems foolish to me under most circumstances.

1000% seems like overkill to me, what happened to 100 ? I own the Lx7 and is a great pocket camera. IMHO.

Well, I don't know... I was using Luminar software to view, and when zooming in, it showed the percent, and would go in to over 1000%. Never thought about it being extreme. You're right though. Thanks for the comment.
