I heard some noise outside and saw this thing about 300 feet over my head. Apparently our house was near the field that needed spraying. Welcome to rural America.

Something else that I realized today is that I have a LONG way to go on the road to figuring out Photoshop. So it goes. Number three needed some extra help but I just couldn't make the sky as blue as the previous shots and the vertically impaired were getting hungry.

Ok, there is a reason why I usually avoid things that move but these are more in focus that previous attempts.

Good shots. Keep on working on Photoshop. I used to be able to do more than I can now. I forgot how I did some of the things I did a couple of years ago, lol. That is what happens when one gets up there in age, at least to some extent.

Hey, I resemble that remark.

My problem is time. On those rare occasions when I get to play it tends to get flushed before the next time that PS gets fired up. Thanks for popping in and I will definitely work on it when time permits.

I did not know they still had crop dusters. I live in the country and have not seen one since they outlawed DDT (what--45 years ago?). Here all the chemicals are done on the ground (or in it).

I'm quite sure that it wasn't anything toxic but he was definitely spraying something. The guy whose field he was spraying will be delivering hay sometime during the next week. If I remember, and I'm home, I will ask.

Nice series, Mike. The sky in #3 looks fine as is. Bumping the contrast a bit might get you a deeper blue, or you could use the hue/saturation slider. The more you play with Photoshop, the easier it becomes, lol.

This is a basic truth kind Sir but every time I think that there has been progress, it is followed by a long stretch of no learning that I tend to forget even simple things. Imagine Alzheimers and Photoshop in the same brain bucket and that is pretty close to my learning curve.

Case in point, our two oldest sons and son in law are currently working their way home through Kansas City from a sock mill in North Carolina. On the back of my truck are two more sock machines and another toe closer.

Here is thhe ironic part. I've made socks with our first machine, made a valiant attempt at numbers two and three, and now two more are almost here and I feel like the only thing that I really do is go to my "real" job at the prison.

If there is no rest for the wicked, I must be pretty bad.

I have not used PS very much, as I find LR takes care of most of my editing needs. However, when I do want to do something in PS, I usually go to You Tube and search for a video on the function I want to use in PS. There are always many video choices to watch and I start and stop the video and try to replicate the task with the image I am working on.
I find it usually takes several attempts at the same function before it gets locked in memory.

I do the same thing Jerry, there is a wealth of information out there. Plus, I have a book (Understanding Photoshop CS6) to refer to also. I'll get there, it's just frustratingly slow.

We live in a 'special place'.

Thanks for popping in and may you have better luck next time. I used drive truck too, you can't just park 70' of fun anywhere without attracting attention.

Nice set. Yellow and blue look real good together.

We have one that goes over us several times a week. I try to get pictures when he does the closest farm as he makes his turn right over us. When I first moved here a woman a couple of doors down called the state police and complained a plane was buzzing her house. She got mad when the person on the phone laughed at her.

A short time later she called to complain she heard gunshots (very common around here) and got mad when she was told that unless they are shooting at her, don't call.

We did have a crop duster crash about 10 miles from me last month.

May never get another chance like the one i missed. He was right on the deck to my left just across the other lanes and no way i could park and get the camera out. Going to have to start keeping it in the jump seat
