Management seems to think that we discuss matters best if we are ignorant, so I cannot provide a link here without causing them to move this to the low-traffic L&R section ... however, the news update I received yesterday from DPReview was mostly about the D850 ... with one little piece of news from Canon tucked in the middle of all the stuff from Nikon. Canon is adding to the bottom of their MILC line. The M5 and M6 are joined by the M100. It doesn't look like the kind of camera I would ever purchase - it has neither a built-in EVF {like the M5} nor an option to add one {like the M6}, but apparently Canon is hoping it will appeal to those who currently use "just a smart phone".
