Alpine Columbine

This rather beautiful flower has appeared amongst a bed of lillies. After some investigation it transpired to come from Central Europe and is called an Alpine Columbine. How itfound it's way into our garden in Central Scotland remains a mystery.

Beautiful flower. Traveling bird's droppings? He only ate 1 seed before he traveled.

I'm glad it found it's way into your garden so we could enjoy them. I have red and pind ones,a different type, that bloomed already.
