Parts of this video was kinda silly...may be my age.
I thought the oven would work best!
I passed this along to the Mono Lake victim.
Thank you for the laugh!

The microwave thing really happened to me. My wife's kid (he was 20 at the time) is a real jerk to be polite. I went to the store one day and he microwaved my Sony a500 and all the lenses. He destroyed everything. I went to the police because the amount of damage was a felony. Nothing happened because no one saw him do it even though he bragged about it. Anyway, even though I did not have an extended warranty on that camera, Sony decided to fix it at no charge just to see if they could do it. They told me so. They even replaced the lenses. This is why I stick with Sony.

I've seen dumber things done by smarter people. The whole world to me, is kind of silly.

I bet it was fun for them to try!

I don't know how much fun they had, but I sure am grateful. It's funny, when I had my tv repair shop, every once in awhile I would come across some sort of bizarre problem. Even though I knew I would lose money on it, I would usually try to repair it anyway just to see if I could. This was good P.R. for me. I would have customers for life! Hmmm...

I love people like that. You say No and they say Why Not! (with an exclamation point)
