Good series Larry. It looks like No3 needs a porter but I guess they are something from a bygone age like pump attendants.

I didn't any porters around but in Oregon we still have attendants pumping gas. Thanks for looking.

Not so fast! Oregon and New Jersey are the only states where it's still illegal to pump your own gas. $500 penalty and possible jail time.

I didn't realize that NJ also made it illegal to pump gas for your car. When we get back to Oregon after being away for a few months I jump out (well maybe slowly climb out) of the car to pump gas & the attendant comes over & gives me a look like I'm crazy. You know the price of gas in Oregon is not significantly higher than surrounding states so I can't complain. But the attendants don't clean the windshield & don't offer to check the oil.

Agreed. I'm sure they all wanted to get on with their trip. All seemed to be bored or resigned to the wait.

Thanks Don ... The one of the woman who just seemed detached from her environment was particularly interesting to me. Everyone else seemed to be adjusting to the circumstances.

I agree. He was getting ready for his trip but the older person in the background, who was looking at me like why are you taking my picture, was the person who I was initially interested in. But when I tried to focused on him it was apparent that he didn't like it. So I focused on the stretching guy, got the older man & only later when I loaded the shots onto my computer did I realized that I liked my actual shot better than just the older person. Thanks for your input.
