I know that some of the contributors to this forum hate it when people make a point of saying that they ahev hand held a camera so, if you're one of those, don't read any further.

The first photo here is of the Guggenheim Museun in Bilbao in the north of Spain. It was taken from a bridge about 200/250 metres away.

The second photo was taken from exactly the same vantage point but using the full X20 zoom of my Canon Powershot SX1 IS. Sorry, I can't remember the aperture nor the speed. I think that the quality of the second shot is remarkable, even more so if you are able to enlarge the photo

crazy architecture. the red of the bridge adds to the photo. if you do post processing i would get ride of the green guardrail left bottom by either cloning tool or healing brush. 2nd photo great color study as well as line shape and texture

Thank you for both your comments. Maybe this is better for the first shot.

The first photo is nice, but the second one is a little fuzzy.

Oh, some purist Canon/Nikon snob is gonna fuss over your shots for an hour to tell you that the edge of the railing showed "fuzziness". It's part of the breed. Wish I was that steady---C
P.S:I toju so--- djmarti proves my point!

Thanks for that PIXchuck. I agree that the inclusion of the rail in the foreground detracted from the composition, the reason I posted another shot without it and I think tjhat it is better, but I must admit that I can't detect any fuzziness in the second shot.

Hey Gargle: When I was a kid at West Hi, Mpls, years ago someone sang "It's Not For Me To Say". You took the pictures---you were pleased with your pictures. You did not force us to view your pictures. Therefore "It's Not For Me To Say" unless I(you) ask. Seems you made a statement about how steady your hand. Like I said, we have snobs who revel in minuteau in our hobby---oooooo that gets the pros undies in a bunch----so what----it's all in having fun and collecting memories..........C
P.S: Just wait---betchu sumone corrects my spelling!.......C
