Unable to travel for long distances, I was with my daughter and family in Bloomington, Indiana. I was blessed with fine weather until clouds and rain moved in for the last 1/2 hour. No diamond ring, but happy with the results.

Great shot. I'm in Carmel, a bit north of Bloomington (where I still have two children at IU). This is pretty much what I saw. They say in seven years, Indiana will experience 100% coverage.

I live in the Southport area. I set up in my daughters driveway in Bloomington, so I could duck into the shade of her garage between shots. I will save my filter for another try at 100% in 7 years, assuming I am still around. Her two grade school aged boys had a good time with the glasses.

I took a long trek.... to the back yard. Totally clear skies. Photo was taken with an Olympus E-5 mounted to the back of a Celestron 5" Maksutov-Cassegrain Telescope 1500mm focal length at f-11. with a Seymour Solar Filter
Camera was set at 1600 ISO at 1/30 sec. No post processing.
Second photo was with an Olympus E-30 with a 70-300 mm f-7.1 with a 1.4 Olympus teleconverter. Effective focal length of 420mm. 2000 ISO at 1/13 sec. hand held.

Thanks for your wonderful photos. My equipment was Canon 70D, Canon 100-400 L, with Firecrest 77 mm. ND4.5 18 stop filter. I was set on ISO 100, f.8 ,400 mm. @ 1/5 sec. I was surprised how much I had to reduct the shutter speed. I started out at 1/1000 sec, and ended up at 1/5 sec. You are very fortunate to have good weather and the eclipse in your back yard.
