Here in the Dallas area, we have just passed the maximum stage of the partial eclipse that is visible to us today.
Here is my first image...look carefully for the crescent images of the sun created by small pinhole lenses formed by the leaves of our front yard shrubs. They are projected onto the textured surface of our front sidewalk. D810. ISO 400, 1/100 second at f/5. 24-20 mm f/2.8 at 66 mm. Cropped in camera to 9.8 mb. No further processing.
I also captured some landscape views. As expected, they required about 2 stops more exposure and the color was flatter (by direct observation) than in normal midday light. Nothing really notable to post, but interesting to stand in the middle of and just look around. Temperature has also dropped about 8 degrees or so.

I managed to get one shot through a welding lens on my iPhone
Then the clouds ruined the day
I'll clean it up later tonight. See what I really got and repost later
